I’ve been playing for the Misfits for over 10 years now, ever since I first moved to Singapore and was introduced to the club through the one and only Big Merv. From day one, the Misfits made me feel welcome. It’s genuinely the most inclusive, easy-going, and enjoyable cricket club I’ve ever been part of.
What makes the Misfits special isn’t just the cricket, although we’ve played some seriously high-quality stuff over the years, it’s the people and the culture. This is a club built on camaraderie, good humour, and a shared love of the game (and the beers that follow). I’ve made some lifelong mates here and created memories I’ll never forget (or share anytime soon).
The socials are legendary, the post-match sessions are elite, and the tours… well, the tours are unforgettable and absolutely not to be shared in a public testimonial.
From beach cricket at Sentosa to social league matches, Deepavali tournaments, playing on the Padang and huge days out at CSC, the Misfits are hands-down the best social cricket club in Singapore.
If you’re looking for a team that plays hard, laughs harder, and welcomes anyone into the fold, you won’t find a better bunch than the Misfits.
